There are a number of car hire companies serving the Ajaccio Airport. They include Alamo, Avis, Budget
, National/Citer, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt
.
Please note that some car hire companies refer to the Ajaccio Airport as ‘Ajaccio Campo Dell Oro Airport’, by the airport code AJA or Ajaccio (Corsica).
There are also French companies ADA and RENT a CAR.
Alamo/National/Citer, Avis and Europcar and Hertz have an outside building where you pick up your car. Buildings are directly across from the airport terminal. You will have to cross the car park. The car hire parking is behind these buildings. When you drop off your car hire you will take the road to the left, just before the airport. There is a sign to direct you.
For Budget and Sixt I’m not sure how it works as I didn’t see a building or desk for either of them when I visited the airport. So I’m guessing they work in partnership with another car hire company.
If you are looking to hire a car at the Ajaccio Airport you can either hire directly from one of the companies above or go threw a consolidator like Auto-Europe.co.uk. The only suggestion I have is to make sure you shop around.
If you need to fill up on petrol before returning your car hire. There are a few petrol stations near the airport. Esso and BP look to be the cheapest.
